The Dark Knight series of Batman films is finally set to conclude with yet another cinematic epic, four years after The Dark Knight became a major international hit. The final chapter in the series was filmed in technologically advanced IMAX cameras. Shooting locations included US cities such as Pittsburgh, New York, and Los Angeles, as well as sites in India, England and Scotland. The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled to open in theatres in summer 2012.
